Hiya, Hope! [She gives a wave of her hand, grinning.] People sure are tough on you, aren't they. That's why I'm here! Want to say thanks for bringin' Kate back, and for keepin' us all alive and whatnot.

[There's a brief pause wherein Faith looks around at the temple before her gaze settles on the camera again.] So, how you been?

Yeh it shows! Been a good week or so. I got two things from home I really love, so I'm definitely happy, and I'm feelin' hopeful about your intentions.

[Unlike some people, who seem determined to be angry.]

Was really nice of you and Delight to try and send us back home, even if it would've cost you energy. Surprised people are still angry with you. You'd think it's obvious you're trying to help us!

I would think so as well, but I have learned it is safer to assume that people will always think the worst. Still, I'm glad it's worked out well for you so far. Better than the dragons, in any case.

Most people look at the bad things instead of the good ones. S'not their fault, the world's a pretty nasty place sometimes. Well, mine and Kate's can be. The trick is to just look on the bright side, but that's easier said than done for most. Don't let it get you down, Hope! I mean, even the dragons worked out okay in the end -- Kate's still here. D'you know how good that is? To know for a fact that death can't take away your friends forever?

[Forgive her this moment of utter sappiness, Hope. She's just really glad you exist.]

Oh! That reminds me. You and the others -- or some of the others, at least -- are friends! I'm glad you've been able to get 'em back. Must've been lonely, bein' just you and Fear, when you don't always get along.

I'm glad that some of my efforts are appreciated. So long as I am able, I will bring people here back when they die.

It certainly wasn't pleasant having only Fear to speak to. He's incredibly annoying and disagreeable.

What would have to happen to make you not able?

[There's genuine concern in her face and in her voice. For his sake (she doesn't want him to get hurt, not when he hasn't really done anything wrong, not on purpose) and everyone else's (losing people is hard, but knowing they'll come back helps ease the ache a little while you wait).]

Haven't had much time to get to know 'im, but his name sure says a lot. Delight's lovely, though. Talked to her, liked her a lot. Think I'll go check up on her later.

If I die or am seriously injured, I will be far less effective.

You're not so bad yourself, y'know? You're a bit serious, but that's not a bad thing. Every group o' friends needs a serious one!

I don't know if I would call us a group of friends, but I suppose that's true. However, I would say Sorrow is far more serious than I am.

[Faith shrugs. Friends, frenemies. Whichever.]

Haven't really met 'im yet. Maybe I'll stop by his temple next! Can't imagine he wants to be sad, even if his name's Sorrow.

[Faith, that's-- that's not really how it works...? Is it? She has no idea.]

We don't embody the emotions that power us. I am not constantly hopeful, for example. Sorrow is not constantly sad. We simply prefer it if you are hopeful or sad.
