[Hope's voice is clear and clipped.]
If you would like to leave a message, you may do so here. I can't promise to respond. I have many demands on my time, and this sort of thing is far down the list. Still, if you would like to, you may.

"Then you should be made aware that, in ways, they are unable to defend themselves in death as well. Certain inhabitants, myself included, have ways of interacting with the dead. I can assist in their safety so that it does not happen again. Spirits are... precious to me."
She would never stand by and let someone like Caedra torture another one of them again. It was one thing when Ravine had posed a threat to them as a Shedim, but Caedra had made a conscious decision with malicious intent, and that Ravine cannot abide.
action;
"Do you need anything from me in order to do so?"
action;
This is Ravine's purview. She may not be able to fight the Null or most of the monsters, but she can defend the remnants of the civilization here to the best of her abilities.
She shakes her head. "I do not think so. Although a safer place for their souls to rest until you are ready would be prudent. Your temple, perhaps."
action;
He says it flatly.
"The city must be safe enough. I will take measures to ensure it."
action;
She would rather be erased from existence than to continue as a crazed and dangerous spirit.
"As will I," she promises. "I know that there are many who do not appreciate what you do, not not all of us think the same. And I have more respect for the dead than some, hence my wish to help in protecting them."
action;
He nods, polite as Hope ever is.
"When we are safe, I will restore them all to life."
action;
Psychopomps are not often in the market for preserving souls to be resurrected by some godly being someday, but protecting them in general is what Ravine does. She would do anything to ensure that the same thing with the demon does not happen again.
"They seemed to have trouble communicating with me, but I believe that they trust in you to keep your word."
She doesn't want to introduce the ultimatum her kind would take if Hope and his species fall. Leaving lost souls to wander and decay for eternity never ends well. Especially not for such emotionally fragile creatures.
action;
He sounds just a touch offended. Hope cared, and cares, very deeply about their hosts. Even the hint of questioning that is unwelcome.
"Of course I will keep my word."
