[Hope's voice is clear and clipped.]
If you would like to leave a message, you may do so here. I can't promise to respond. I have many demands on my time, and this sort of thing is far down the list. Still, if you would like to, you may.

Voice;
So after a brief moment of hesitance on his part, Regis finally speaks. Forgive the old man for his sense of formality here. He's unaccustomed how to address a deity and his anxiety is getting the best of him. Nevertheless when he speaks, Regis actually doesn't give away his nervousness at all. He sounds assured and confident like a king should.]
Hearken unto me, God of Hope. I wish to speak you regarding matters that effect us both but first allow me to stand on ceremony and introduce myself. [He pauses for a brief moment before finding his nerve again.]
I am Regis Lucis Caelum the One-Hundred and Thirteenth of my name, the Former King of Lucis, King of Light and Guardian of the Crystal. I have forged pacts with deities in times past but this will be the first time I've met one of your kind.
[Deities who take the form of mortals? Quite the oddity in Regis' book. Nothing like the Six he knows well.]
At your earliest convenience, I would like to speak with you.
Voice;
This is also the first time I have met anyone with those titles. What is it that you want to speak about?
Voice;
[There's a slight pause that follows, one that lingers for the briefest of moments. Regis is unaccustomed to speaking with deities directly, especially via phone. It all feels so surreal to him.]
Forgive me for the sudden intrusion on my part. I mean no disrespect but how will this quarrel between deities end if you proclaim yourself the victor?
Voice;
[Their 'war' is really much more like a childish spat, with hair-pulling and slapfights.]
He is extremely irritating.
Voice;
Irritating? That's all? [There's a hint of irritation in Regis' voice. Can you tell, Hope?] Surely there's more than what meets the eyes here.
Tell me, what crimes or deeds has "Fear" done?
Voice;
What hasn't he done? He's constantly condescending and infuriating. Half the time he gets some of you killed and I have to bring you back, and the other half everyone is blaming me for the things he does. He doesn't help provide food or shelter, he doesn't even help fix things when they get broken - which, by the way, is usually his fault.
He's unspeakably rude and utterly self-centered. I don't see how anyone could possibly stand him. And of course, he's the one responsible for all of you being here, but of course I'm the one who always takes the blame for that, too.
He is the worst.
Voice;
He's agitated. Very agitated.]
You take the blame? No, I believe most of the population blame all of you deities collectively for your unbridled foolishness.
[He scoffs.]
One would "hope" you understand the sheer gravity of our plight. We are unwilling spectators in this sibling feud between you and Fear.
Voice;
[Sigh.]
Your plight is not something I can fix. I simply give you the tools and the ability to survive.
