If he were smart, he would be. You may be keeping us alive, but you're also trying to learn more about the Door. The Door that can send us, his tickets to more power, home.

He could keep us alive on his own if it were necessary, I'm sure. He's got a reserve of power, where you've had to use yours to protect us, to feed us, to bring us back to life, and to bring your own godly buds back. And I'm sure he gets more out of us than you do. I have never been a warrior. Fear could have killed me long ago if that was what he wanted. I don't see any reason for him to change his mind now, particularly since I'm doing something that's useful to him. He could do it himself, yes, but I know he doesn't want to.
