It wasn't Ravine's intention to show up so late after the move, among other things that have transpired as of late. Between bustling around the city so soon after Fear's need for an energy boost and her sealing Atem's soul wound that she had inflicted as a result of that, she has been fairly preoccupied.

(Oh, and speaking of which... there he is. But Ravine isn't here to keep her meditating friend company, much as she wouldn't mind to.)

With this it's better late than never, and rather than speaking through the mundane communications that is their phones, Ravine enters Hope's temple directly. Or as direct as a reaper emerging from the tendrils of shadows in the darkest corner nearby can allow her to. It's pretty direct.

Eyes shifting from sharp gold to their usual soft brown, she approaches the temple center as a guest than a devoted worshipper, a raging critic, or a beggar.

"If it would not be much trouble, Hope, I would like to have a word with you."

He should know.

Hope appears, because he generally does when asked. It's put him in danger in the past, and he is aware of that, but it's not in his nature to live in fear. Caution, rather, and he is more cautious now.

[Atem doesn't have to wait for very long before Hope appears. He glances at the device on the altar, but doesn't study it closely - that will be for later. It's rude to ignore a guest.]

Much like Hope, Ravine is also bound by her nature: To never harm a living thing. While he may lack in flesh and blood beyond his human avatar that most of their kind takes shape in, Hope is still living. As such, she would never hurt him, although not many would know or suspect as such.

"I thought that you should know that I have made contact with some of your old hosts recently."

That's all she says for now. Everyone reacts to these things differently.

「He's never seen Hope in person before, it's a little odd, he looks just like anyone else, except he knows this is not even his form. Eh, he tries to ignore the million questions this brings to him and he gives him a smile instead.」

I got what we talked about. 「He sends a quick glance at the altar.」 If you're still up to it. 「He knows he is, put his stuff in order and is ready for anything.」

He was not pleased when Nate did it, there's no reason he would be pleased when someone else does. He frowns.

"Let them rest."

She responds with a small, sympathetic smile.

"I had intended to, but it seems that they are waiting for you to bring them back." Her smile fades into a frown. "I hope you were not planning to leave them in their current state for long."

Of course. We had a deal, after all.

[Hope is many things, but he's not the type to change his mind about something like that.]

I have a last minute request, though. 「A rather annoying one but, that's how things tend to be when dealing with Seto Kaiba.」

If you could give us the whole thing unassembled... It'd be the best. You know, the parts instead of the whole, so my friend can put it together, like a puzzle... He... would appreciate it very much.

「Nah! But Gods forbid making him feel useless, not pun intended.」

She would never stand by and let someone like Caedra torture another one of them again. It was one thing when Ravine had posed a threat to them as a Shedim, but Caedra had made a conscious decision with malicious intent, and that Ravine cannot abide.

[His brow wrinkles, because he doesn't really get why, but -]

You don't need to do anything. We will put you in a meditative state. You will wake up when it's over, and it will seem as if time did not pass. Are you ready?

「Because Kaiba, don't try to make sense out of him, it could potentially hurt.」

"I would appreciate that. I can protect them to some extent, but I cannot harm anyone." Another basic aspect of his nature.

"I am inhibited by similar circumstances -- I cannot harm the living, although there may be a loophole in dealing with the one who would threaten them most."

This is Ravine's purview. She may not be able to fight the Null or most of the monsters, but she can defend the remnants of the civilization here to the best of her abilities.

She shakes her head. "I do not think so. Although a safer place for their souls to rest until you are ready would be prudent. Your temple, perhaps."
