Though I did not wish for any of you to be brought here, now that you are here you are my responsibility. We have very different opinions about all of you, and that is mine. I don't need to be thanked for what I do, but I am... happy to know that it doesn't go unnoticed.

The Null have wished to kill me for some time now. It seems that some of you agree with them.

[His head drops a bit for a moment. Yeah, that sucks to hear. He's not surprised, but still, the gods shouldn't have to worry about both the Null and the people here. Well, at least the ones not traumatizing people.]

They have to see reason in time, though. Maybe not everyone, because some people will never get it. But most people aren't as bad as they seem. Most people can eventually see reason. [Can they??? He's just hopelessly optimistic. But he's also seen it in his fair share of people.] I know it doesn't seem like it, but it's true. They'll come around eventually. Maybe even the most stubborn of them.

I believe the same thing. It is a cliche, perhaps, especially for me, but it's important to always have hope. The people here can be illogical and infuriating, and they like to blame me for nearly everything, but they can also be kind and resourceful - particularly when helping each other.

It's good to see.

I think I understand. I've had people blame me or dislike me for no real reason too, but I've also seen some of those people come around. It's a great feeling. I mean, cliches are cliches because they work, right?

how much hope do i need to bring out in people to get a coffee cart again? or if you're spread too thin, who should i ask

it's fucking cold and coffee helps people feel a little better in this weather, if that help at all

I am still working on getting the basic functions of the city running properly again. If you need a coffee cart, you'll have to provide extra energy for it - for example, inspire hope in five people. That would probably be enough.

I have asked people to find them, so that I may communicate with them. It may be that they're simply lost and scared.

I hope it's that. They must have been terribly shocked, to lose so many of their own and, in their perspective, being left to their fates after all but two of you were killed.

How did you and Fear survive? No one has ever told me that part of the tale.

We ran. It is Fear's power, after all - the ability to teleport. We were outnumbered and dying. Sorrow sacrificed himself to give us time to get away.
